Chicken & Coating

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs (or seasoned bread crumbs)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten with 2 tbsp milk (egg wash)
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika, to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Wrap & Fillings

  • 4 large flour or whole wheat tortillas/wraps
  • 1 cup crisp lettuce, washed and shredded
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup cucumber slices

Sauces & Extras

  • Ranch dressing, spicy mayo, or honey mustard (as desired)
  • Optional garnishes: fresh cilantro or parsley, shredded cheese, pickled jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Slice boneless chicken breasts into thin strips for even cooking. Lightly season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Coat the chicken: Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs and milk, and one with panko bread crumbs. Dip each chicken strip first into the flour, then into the egg wash, and finally coat thoroughly with bread crumbs.
  3. Cook the chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken strips until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
  4. Assemble the wraps: Lay out the tortilla or wrap and layer lettuce, tomato slices, shredded carrots, and cucumber. Place several crispy chicken strips on top, then drizzle with your preferred sauce. Tightly roll the wrap to encase the fillings.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Cut the wrap diagonally in half for an attractive presentation and serve immediately for best crunch and flavor.
