Oreo Cheesecake Bites

Oreo Cheesecake Bites are bite-sized, no-bake treats combining creamy cheesecake filling with a crunchy Oreo crust. Easy and quick to prepare, they’re perfect for parties, snacks, or desserts, offering a delightful indulgence with customizable flavor options.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 24 Oreo cookies (about 1.5 cups), crushed into fine crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional Toppings

  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Crushed Oreos
  • Mini peppermint or flavored crumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oreo crust: Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing with a rolling pin. Mix the crumbs with melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a lined baking dish or into mini silicone molds to form the crust base.
  2. Mix the cheesecake filling: In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly until fully incorporated and silky smooth.
  3. Assemble the bites: Spread or spoon the cheesecake mixture evenly over the Oreo crust base. If using silicone molds, fill each cavity with the cheesecake mixture on top of the crust layer. Smooth the tops with a spatula.
  4. Chill to set: Place the assembled Oreo Cheesecake Bites in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or until firm. This step is essential for achieving the perfect creamy texture.
  5. Add toppings and serve: Before serving, sprinkle crushed Oreos, mini chocolate chips, or your preferred garnishes for extra crunch and appeal. Remove bites from molds or cut into squares if made in a baking dish. Enjoy chilled.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother, lump-free filling.
  • Crush Oreos finely with a food processor for better crust binding and consistent texture.
  • Chilling time is important to let the bites set properly for easy slicing and serving.
  • Line baking dishes with parchment paper or use silicone molds to prevent sticking.
  • Experiment with flavors by adding cocoa powder, peanut butter, or extracts like peppermint or almond.
  • Use gluten-free Oreo alternatives to make this recipe gluten-free.
  • Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Freeze by freezing in a single layer before transferring to a sealed container for up to 2 months.
  • Thaw frozen bites in the refrigerator overnight; avoid microwaving to preserve texture and flavor.
