  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon pieces

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Wash and finely slice fresh jalapeños, removing seeds if a milder spice is preferred. Shred cheese if needed, and bring cream cheese to room temperature for easy spreading.
  2. Roll Out the Crescent Dough: Unroll the crescent dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Arrange it into a large circle and pinch the seams together to form one continuous ring-shaped dough base.
  3. Spread the Filling: Evenly spread the softened cream cheese over the dough circle. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, then distribute sliced jalapeños evenly. Optionally, add garlic powder, salt, and pepper for extra flavor, along with diced onions or bacon if using.
  4. Form the Ring: Carefully lift one edge of the dough and fold it over the filling, overlapping slightly to create a sealed ring around the edges, ensuring the filling stays inside.
  5. Bake to Golden Perfection: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the assembled Jalapeño Crescent Ring for 15-20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Cool and Slice: Allow the ring to cool for a few minutes to set the filling. Slice into individual portions and serve warm for the best taste and texture.
