  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside to rest.
  2. Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 7 minutes. Drain and reserve a splash of pasta water.
  3. Make the Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 1 minute to infuse flavors.
  4. Combine Noodles and Sauce: Add cooked noodles to skillet and toss gently in the garlic butter sauce. If sauce is too dry, add reserved pasta water gradually until desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Finish and Serve: Slice rested chicken breasts and arrange on top of the buttered noodles. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm.
