Ingredients

Scale

Protein & Main Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
  • 6 bacon strips (cooked crispy)
  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 cheese slices (cheddar or pepper jack)

Dressing & Veggies

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup fresh lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium tomato (sliced)

Spices & Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook thoroughly by baking, grilling, or pan-searing until fully cooked. Once done, shred the chicken using two forks until tender and pull-apart.
  2. Cook the Bacon: Cook the bacon strips in a skillet or oven until crispy but not burnt. Drain on paper towels to remove excess grease. Crumble or leave the bacon strips whole based on preference.
  3. Mix the Filling: In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken with ranch dressing and cheese slices. Mix gently so the chicken is evenly coated and the cheese begins to melt slightly from residual heat.
  4. Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half. On the bottom half, spoon a generous amount of the chicken mixture. Layer bacon strips on top, followed by fresh lettuce leaves and tomato slices. Place the bun tops on and press gently to secure.
  5. Warm and Serve: Arrange the assembled sliders on a baking sheet. Warm them in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted and buns are lightly toasted. Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken as a time-saving shortcut without sacrificing flavor.
  • Lightly toast the slider buns before assembly to add texture and prevent sogginess from ranch dressing.
  • Serve sliders warm for optimal taste; reheat gently if needed.
  • Avoid overstuffing to keep sliders manageable and easy to eat.
  • Experiment with different ranch dressings such as chipotle or homemade versions for variety.
